1-800-FLOWERS is a wonderful company. Their site is extremely easy to navigate. One feature that I always enjoy is the same day flower delivery. I am a last minute shopper so this always comes in handy. I like that I can sort my flowers by occasion and most importantly to me price. The option for gift baskets with fruits, champagne, and even chocolates is another advantage. You have the option also of being emailed when the recipient gets their delivery. I sent my boss a plant once to welcome him from our team. I didn’t think he’d like flowers.

I have used this site many times and have never been disappointed.  My partner has also used this site and been happy.  I have used it for birthdays, anniversaries, and Mother's day gifts.  The only complaint that I have is that their shipping is really high and their overall prices are really high for what you get.  If you use this sight and care about quality, be prepared to spend at least $50.00 and maybe more.  If you go any less than that, you will not be happy with the quality of the gift selection.  I would recommend this site to anyone who has loved ones that live too far away to deal with local florists or for anyone who just prefers to do their business online.

Anytime I need to send flowers I always resort to purchasing them online, it’s amazing how times have changed from looking in the phone book for a florist to just making the purchase online. That said, my favorite by far is 1-800-Flowers. I have always gotten the freshest flower arrangement every single time and it was always delivered exactly when I need them to be. I once had a delivery from FTD and I was not impressed with the results. 1-800-Flowers not only have a beautiful selection of arrangements but they will get those flowers to you the very same day if needed, and the customer service was awesome!! Try them you won’t be sorry.

1-800-Flowers  is definitely one of the top flower services our team came across. Want to send someone flowers? You'll find it's much easier (and oftentimes much more affordable) to do it online than through your local florist. The only problem is figuring out which online flower delivery websites offer the best blooms and the best service. After all, you don't want to send someone half-dead flowers with the stems breaking apart. That's why the Star Reviews team decided to dig in and compare online flower delivery services. Of course we had to include 1800Flowers, one of the biggest names in online flower shopping, in our online flower delivery reviews. Here's what we found out.

We really like that 1800Flowers has a variety of "Hot Seller" arrangements available for $50 or less, and that includes delivery. It makes sending last-minute "I think your special" gifts convenient and affordable.

The 1800Flowers Experience:

The 1800Flowers website looks like the typical online flower delivery store. Search by occasion, type of flowers, specials, price and other user-friendly search options. And we must admit, the selection of flowers and plants to choose from is overwhelming. So many beautiful arrangements to choose from!

We had lots of fun browsing the Martha Stewart boutique. The arrangements and vases, all inspired by Martha, were beautiful and reasonably priced. There were even flower care tips for us to reference, with advice on how to make our flowers look beautiful and last longer.

Unlike many of the other online flower stores we visited, 1800Flowers only had a few bouquets that had "upgrade" options and we were only able to find one that didn't explain whether the image shown was of the basic model or of the upgraded version. For the most part it seems that this website takes a "what you see is what you get" approach.

Make sure you check out the Fresh Rewards savings club before placing your order. When you join the club you get one point for every dollar spent. For every 200 points you collect you get $20 in savings. And you also might want to check out 1800Flowers' credit program. If you send flowers frequently you'll be able to keep those purchases separate from your other credit card purchases and it'll save you the hassle of entering your credit card information at checkout.

When the Star Reviews team decided to compare online flower delivery websites we checked each one for pricing on three different common floral arrangements. The results are found in the grid below:
