Star Reviews' Favorite Feature:

This is a pretty obvious one, but our favorite feature at 1154 LILL was the option to design our own handbag! We were really surprised by how many options were available for individual handbag design, which featured 25 different styles and over 150 fabrics. And we could not only choose the fabric of the bag itself, but also its strap, strap accent, and interior! This unique feature really makes 1154 LILL a great shopping experience.

The 1154 LILL Experience:

Our first impression of the 1154 LILL website was that it was adorable, to say the least. The graphics are quaint, playful, and feminine, and the site is designed with spring colors and accents. The homepage was laid out well, and met its goal of being welcoming and inviting. We also liked seeing the special 1154 LILL offers and sales displayed prominently on the page.

We love that the 1154 LILL website includes a section explaining the company's beliefs to customers, which include creativity, friendliness, and accessibility. These attitudes are definitely in the rest of the 1154 LILL website, which not only offers products and accessories, but also parties, events, and handbag workshops.

1154 LILL has something for everyone, including baby bags, work totes, and bridal clutches. The website also has a blog and video, aptly titled “Behind the Seams,” that gives readers special inside info on company services and employees. It is great that 1154 LILL makes an effort to appeal to customers and help them learn about the company. Overall, we feel that 1154 LILL is a fun website with a number of great features.

1154 LILL is priced a bit on the high side as far as handbags go in general, however, for a custom handbag the price is quite reasonable. Most clutches average about $100 and most work totes are in the $175 range.

1154 LILL Customer Service:

1154 LILL’s website includes a help section with a list of Frequently Asked Questions that covers topics such as gift certificates, troubleshooting, and returns. The company also provides an e-mail support form and a customer service telephone number, which is unfortunately a long-distance number if you live anywhere outside of Chicago, Illinois. That being said, all methods of service were quick and efficient and handled by friendly and knowledgeable 1154 LILL representatives.

Upside:

Downside:

A bit on the pricey side.
