Fine for a casual user

I use the AT&T GoPhone service because I'm an infrequent cell phone user. I use it for emergencies, or to coordinate with my wife if we're out and about. I don't use it enough to justify a monthly plan.
The pay as you go works fairly well and it works out much less than the cheapest monthly plan. My only quibbles are that the cost of text messages is a bit high and that it inserts an annoying message before putting your call through if the balance is low.

AT&T - Complete in all Sense

AT&T has been brand as far as cell phone related services are concerned. They got all kinds of cell phone services that include Prepaid, individual, family, mobile-to-mobile, data plans and so on. One of my friends recently purchased "iPhone from Apple" through AT&T. They are the only cell company to sell iPhones. You can also find bundle of features like voice mail, caller ID, call waiting, call forwarding, and conference calling. I think it is one of the best services available.

Great company!

First off, let me start by saying AT&T is a phenomenal cell phone company. I love the way their phones are mostly all high quality. I have never been disappointed with a single phone I bought from them. The only downside would be the coverage. Sometimes you have a lot, others you have none. This can be expected from almost any company, however I notice it more with this one than most. Besides the semi-poor coverage, I think it would be smart to go with AT&T. As an afterthought, their customer service is good. They have helped me through many a crisis with my phone including times when mine was utterly destroyed and they gave me a replacement for around $10.
