American Airlines is another carrier that I will not use. One of the their problems is that in a cross country flight, the snack offerings are scant and far apart. The service I also found was not that great. Not only that, but preflight, there are always huge lines for their check-in. Not matter where I’ve flown out of I had a problem getting to the front of the line in a timely fashion. But, on a positive note they offer many flight destinations across the US and international flights. Although, if I were to recommend a carrier, this would not be one of them.

American Airlines is one of my favorites because of their competitive prices, and fairly okay customer service. If you're using American Airlines, it's generally better to live in Dallas (the home of American Airlines), because you get great prices. But even if you don't live in Dallas, American Airlines has many flights all over America and the world.

It's easy to book a flight on American's website. My favorite feature is that you can hold the flight (and ticket price) for up to 24 hours, without a credit card. I loved that because I'm always leery of giving my credit card information out, in case "the computer" accidentally charges me. I like to price shop, but American always comes out on top, and that's why I'm a loyal customer.

American Airlines is a great airline if you are looking for wonderful customer service and less delays. The airline is great when it comes to customer service over the phone as well as in the terminals. However, this airlines charges additional fees for EVERYTHING, I mean this company will even charge 2.00 for a pillow, which many other airlines do the charge. As well as when I was trying to change my flight hours after I booked the flight online, the operator wanted to charge an additional 200.00 fee for penalty, which many other companies will not charge that outrageous price. Overall, this airline company is great for good service and fewer delays however I would be careful when it comes to additional fees that will occur when you need additional items.
