I used to use American Greetings eCards through my AOL account all the time. Then they got greedy. At first, it was great and free. HUGE selection and easy to use as your AOL address book was there and available for easy addressing of the eCards. Once they started charging for the eCards however, the selection of free ones was cut by about 90% and the ones that are currently free are lousy quality. I never use this site anymore and would not recommend it to anyone. Why pay when you can get them for free elsewhere and why get them free here when the free ones elsewhere are better quality?
I normally use www.123greetings.com for all my greeting card services, but have stopped using it for the aeon of time it takes for the loading and selection process, but most of the services were free . Then i switched to american greetings and immediately liked its interface , with all those homorous greetings and complimentary messages , moreover the animation is ok since it involves giving importance to the message delivered and most of the animations are a little bit short , they could have been extended . The only back-sign is that almost most of the greetings request you for a subscription or at least a trial subscription for one month . It dosent cost much though around 12.00-13.00$ . But i prefer sending free greetings as i dont send much , but this website is much better than the costlier Hallmark card service.
