Not great.

I love Apartments.com because it is so easy to use. It gives just about all the options a person could possibly want when looking for his or her new home, including whether or not apartments are pet friendly, price range, air-conditioning, washer and dryer in the unit, etc. It gives a huge selection for a particular area, and you can narrow them down by price range as needed. It usually lists photos of the communities as well, so it can make finding the perfect home in an unknown area very simple, quick, and easy. Plus, they often offer rental incentives from the website. If you rent a home from a listing on apartments.com, they will sometimes offer as much as a hundred dollars to the user. Very nice incentive!

I was looking to first move out of my parents house and was searching EVERYWHERE for an apartment. I really didn't like this site because when you search, it only searches apartment complexes and doesn't offer up apartments that may be over buildings or privately owned. Therefore, there were only a few in my area that showed up on their site. I actually ended up renting from one that did come up on their site, but not because of the site itself; I found an ad on craigslist and checked out the apartment complex. They do have good information about the apartments and what's included with pictures, but I think if you want to ONLY LIVE IN AN APARTMENT COMPLEX, it's the only way you'll be happy with apartments.com.
