Esurance coined the slogan, 'Quote, Buy, Print' and they mean it! After completing a quote form, you can select which auto insurance plan you want, purchase it and print your ID cards on the spot. Impressive!

If you're looking for a great auto insurance quote website, then it's a necessity to check out giant GEICO. They began way back in 1936 and offer their insurance customers a basic, yet aesthetically-pleasing website interface.
You can access instant insurance quotes here, but be aware of the fact that you won't be given a side-by-side comparison of rates from different insurance companies. You get the feeling you can either 'go with what you're given' or not.

Star Reviews really only has good things to say about GEICO. They are, after all, quite the insurance empire. There are alot of insurance plans here and you get access to auto insurance claims tracking, should you need it. You can also utilize the GEICO website through the mobile access feature, a huge perk for some. While rates may be a bit higher here, their stellar customer support all but makes up for the fact. Telephone and email customer support were both friendly and efficient. We give the gecko 5.0 Stars!

We couldn't review auto insurance quotes and not include Allstate in the process. After all, they've been in the insurance biz since the good ol' days-1934 to be exact.
Allstate's auto insurance quotes are extremely diverse. Expect alot of options here, as there are plenty of insurance plans and tons of features. We did, however, encounter slow page load times, most likely a result of the plethora of available information.

Performing an 'apples to apples' comparison on Allstate and their competitors' websites, Allstate came in with the lowest online quote, at $240. Their customer support is great here, as we submitted an online request form and a friendly, informative rep called us back same-day! How impressive. We feel they should receive 4.5 Stars!

State Farm is huge in the insurance arena and are a good place to turn to for quality auto insurance quotes. Our team recognizes their prominence in the insurance realm and expected the same from their website.
We encountered some problems when completing the auto insurance quotes form, when upon submitting our form, it looped us back to the homepage: twice.

Our team couldn't get over the badly-functioning auto quotes submission form. We realize this may have been an anomaly, but it was a rather big problem. Customer support via telephone was friendly, although they didn't fully address our website issues. We would have liked to see a customer support email address (and not just a form to find and connect us with an insurance agent.) But, we have to hand it to State Farm-they provide a gigantic sum of auto insurance claims in North America...and it's for a reason. They earned 4.0 Stars!

One site we found for auto insurance quotes is the NetQuote website. At first glance, they seemed to have their act together, boasting a simple-to-browse and fluid user interface.
However, we soon realized that this site doesn't really give you auto insurance quotes directly. After completing a user-friendly, five-step quote application, you'll be emailed a list of auto insurance providers you can contact (and who will be contacting you.)

Star Reviews never likes feeling like our information has been 'sold' and although NetQuote is a big name and hence, can be trusted, we still felt like we'd be solicited after completing our auto insurance quote form. We were emailed with a bunch of possible quotes we could go with and their providers' contact info (plus a promise they'd be in touch with us.) We would have liked to be able to select which quotes we were interested in, instead of feeling bombarded with countless providers. In way of customer support, NetQuote has email support (which is pretty speedy) and a comprehensive FAQs. They deserve 3.5 Stars!
