Featured by The View, CNN and Good Morning America, we had high hopes for US Search and they definitely came through for us!
There are some great features on this background check service, such as contractor and nanny screenings. This not only avoids sticky situations, your family will be kept safe by pre-screening potential employees you have in or near your home.

Star Reviews applauds US Search for keeping their site functional and user-friendly. Who wants to be thrown for a loop when they're in the hunt for information on a husband they don't trust anymore? US Search has good pricing, with a basic background check costing you around $39.95. Consider add-on's of special purchases, though and keep that in mind that costs can add up. Customer support is available via toll-free number, email and a FAQs database. All were efficient and left us in the know. They surely win our Most Popular spot with 5.5 Stars!

Coining itself an 'interactive person to person search engine,' Abika goes above and beyond what we expected from a background check site. They have all of the basics and so much more. For example, our team loved their eBay user background screenings and satellite photo searches. Talk about high-tech! While their site could use a re-vamp, don't let this fool you! Their customer support via email, telephone and FAQs is great, which is hard to come by sometimes. Their fun, resourceful site features snag them our Most Popular spot with 5.5 Stars!

The EasyBackgrounds background check service is just that: easy. While it caters to corporations and small businesses wishing to 'know' who their employees are, it offers some great features.
We liked that they provide a National Sex Offender's Registry (vital in today's world) and other features such as statewide criminal searches, reference checks and federal court searches. If they did it, you'll find it on Easy Backgrounds.

Star Reviews applauds any background check service that simplifies their signup process and makes purchases a whiz. EasyBackgrounds does just this and even has excellent email customer support. If you are a paying member, you then have access to telephone support. Pricing isn't bad here, especially for a service designed for corporate accounts. For example, a county court search will cost you $25. Not bad! Overall, we really liked their website and services, and feel they earned 5.5 Stars!

If you're not a technologically savvy or Internet-driven individual, then Public Background Checks is probably your best choice in background check services.
Not only do they offer the basics of sites of their kind, they're virtually painless to navigate and figure out. You can even get instant delivery reports on some features, should you need the truth on a spouse or significant other immediately.

Not only can you purchase services a la carte style, you can sign up for subscriptions in various time increments. The pricing here is affordable too, with features like address searches running you around $9.95. While they don't offer as many search functions as some of the bigger names out there, they're still a solid service. Email customer support responded to us the same business day and there's a Help section as well. We give them 5.0 Stars!

If you're looking for a decent background check service without a whole lot of hassle, then KnowX will prove to be a good choice for you.
While searching for criminal records isn't recommended (we found they outsource this service to a third-party, and we had a difficult time using the service) you can find most any background check feature you need here.

Star Reviews didn't necessarily have the easiest time navigating this website, as there are a ton of offerings here, making it a little cumbersome. However, pricing is competitive and there is volume discounts available, should you need them. You can sign up for their service on various subscription levels, as well, if that is more along the lines of what you want. Customer support is only available by FAQs and an email support system upon account log-in. A response came to us around 2 days, so if you need immediate help, you might want to look elsewhere. But, all in all, KnowX receives 4.5 Stars!

When we first surfed onto the Discreet Research website, we thought they were being discreet about what they offered.
Their website looked 'cheap' and we didn't think we'd be too impressed by their service right off the bat. Still, we're not ones to judge, so we browsed through their background check service.

Star Reviews didn't love this background check service, we have to admit. Their pricing was a little high (driver's records will cost you $49) and there weren't a whole lot of resources or informational links here. The sign-up process was a pain, as we had to wait for a 'voice confirmation call' from the company and print, sign and fax back a terms and conditions agreement. You also must provide credit card information before you actually make a purchase. For a site that demands this much, you would think they'd have stellar customer support. No such luck. Telephone support was absent, and email support, while giving us a response within 2 days, lacked personalization. We give this site 4.0 Stars!
