This product does not work with Gmail. I have contacted the company several times requesting assistance and they have not resolved the issue. Do not buy this product if you use Gmail.

I have the BitDefender Total Security software and the first time I called them I got through in a reasonable length of time (about 10 minutes or so), but in the last couple of days, things have changed drastically. The technical support service itself is included in the price of the software, but be aware of the fact that the number you call is NOT toll-free. I got through after a 40 minute wait and spoke with a technical support rep who gave me instructions to follow, then contact them again. I have now tried for two days to finish this, but was cut off (without speaking to anyone) three times yesterday after waiting, 6 minutes, 32 minutes and 58 minutes. I tried today with similar results (cut off after 24 minutes, 31 minutes and 16 minutes). I have now sent an email inquiry to Customer Service about the situation. I do not like the online "Chat", and would much prefer to speak to a person, bcause they will be walking me through some rather involved settings changes. I purchased this software because of the combination of effectiveness reported and the quality of customer/technical support they were supposed to provide. This will be my first and last purchase of anything from BitDefender.

great product. They always prompt when you have a problem. Has all your internet security needs for today's threats. I love this product
