Blinko is an Internet-based cell phone ringtones provider. They offer downloadable ringtones in formats such as polyphonic ringtones, realtones, and sound effects to mobile users. Mobile phone newsletters, games, wallpapers, and animations are also available.

Blinko can be challenging to navigate. There are at least four sub-menus to go through to find the mobile ring tones you want, and you can't browse a full list of what's available; instead, you have to go through page by page, sorted by the first letter of the tone. All ringtones have a free preview which is of good quality, but there is no way to stop the music from playing without reloading the page—a bit of a hassle if surfing in a quiet area or at work.

Cell phone ring tones are separated into only a few categories: Tones, PICS, Games, Fun Text, Search and Most Wanted in the center featuring new songs. These categories (tabs) are listed separately depending on the type of downloadable Ringtones: polyphonic, real, or sounds. From those selections you then can select Most Wanted, Latest A-Z and Style. When downloadable ringtones appear you can select and search. Once you select mobile ring tones you can either preview or get-it!

Blinko offers a subscription service for $9.99 per month that includes seven credits each month. Subscriptions are only available for AT&T, T-mobile, Nextel, Boost, Alltel, US Cellular, Dobson, Cingular, Verizon, and Cincinnati Bell. Additional downloads are $1.99 each. "Fun text" subscriptions like horoscopes and a joke newsletter are between $3.99 and $5.99 a month.

UPSIDE: Great quality audio samples on Blinko!

DOWNSIDE: Website is hard to navigate with very little customer support- with the exception of a form you can fill out.

Blinko provide for mobile services like ringtones, realtones, polyphonic songs. Their website is very slow while browsing and hence frustrating at times. Blinko's site previews and plays the ringtone exactly as it would have played on your mobile. They supports majority cell phones. You can also sign up for free newsletter which keeps you upto date with the offers and news.
