Blockbuster Online has established itself amongst the best online DVD rental services. It offers a wide range of movies online and also in the store.
This service offers information and critic reviews on each movie, over 75,000 movie titles and after a free trial membership for the most popular $19.99 plan, the first month is only $9.99. There are some 11 different kinds of subscription plans.
Blockbuster Online offers an effective search utility using which you can easily find the DVDs or video games of their choices.
Blockbuster Online allows you to search DVDs by title, actor, director, by new releases and by MPAA film rating. You can also search for movies with other categories including women in film and award winners.
They still need to increase number of movie titles and make the rental pricing which would attract more customers and make it #1.

I love this service! I think that Blockbuster HAD to do this to compete with Netflix as well as OnDemand movies available through cable companies. What Blockbuster did was really smart though, because being able to return the DVDs to the store and rent another one from the store at the same time is genius. I hope this is helping them financially too, as I know they have been suffering through this digital change in technology. I think their service is better than NetFlix and I would recommend it to anyone who has a local Blockbuster store near their home. Its like two for one really. Great service.

Easy and Huge Selection

Blockbuster’s online rental service was terrific for my family. We chose the plan for three DVDs at a time, with the option of returning and trading them for an in-store rental until our next DVDs arrived. This alleviated the problem of having to wait two to three days for your next movie to arrive. I loved being able to make a list of movies we wanted to see, and Blockbuster has a terrific selection online. It’s great to be able to search through their recommendations for you as well and find new, interesting things to watch. The only complaint we had about the online service was the unavailability of new releases. It often would take two to three weeks, sometimes more, before a popular new release became available. If we were lucky though, we could trade in one of our other DVDs at a store for the new releases. This was overall an excellent service.
