We really liked that Cardservice International has a program tailored to online auction sellers. For the longest time PayPal was the only solution for online businesses. Now that companies like Cardservice International are beginning to understand the needs of these sellers, more solutions are becoming available. This company's online auction solutions are a perfect example of this.

The Cardservice International Experience:

Cardservice International has been providing payment processing services since 1988, and you can tell from their website that they are used to dealing with businesses who understand the credit card processing industry. This site is not ideal for the novice who isn't familiar with how credit card processing works or what they need to do to get their website e-commerce ready.

That being said, if you're familiar with e-commerce website requirements and you have a general idea of how credit card processing is done, Cardservice International can be a great solution to your payment processing needs.

If you want to use this company to process credit card payments, you're going to need to fill out their online application – and your credit will play a factor in whether or not you are approved. That being said, we were happy to see that Cardservice International has a 98-percent approval rating. Chances are, even if you've had a few credit problems in the past, this company can get your application through.

Once your application is submitted, it only takes one or two days to get your account up and running. This was a huge time savings over some of the other companies that took a week or more to get a customer started. If you need your credit card processing account set up fast, Cardservice International is going to be one of your best bets.

Cardservice International Customer Service:

Cardservice International offers customer service via email and phone. Phone support was very helpful, although we felt a bit of a sales push as we were asking our questions. Email support was less "salesy" and provided us with a same-day response to the question we had sent in. Those who like quick service and don't mind a sales pitch should do well with this company.

Upside:

Fast customer service, fast processing times, 98% approval rating.

Downside:

A bit more costly than other credit card processing sites.
