Unethical Company

After experimenting with the the free trial, I called to cancel, but the cusotmer service rep convinced me to try it for a full month, and promised that if I didn't cancel, they would give me the "reduced rate" of $9.95/mo. However, when the time came, they charged me the full $14.95. When I called, they said they had nothing about the rate reduction written in the notes on my file, so they would not do anything about it. Chase VISA was gracious enough to give me a courtesy adjustment for the entire amount, but isn't even going to waste time disputing the charge w/ creditreport.com. So there goes another unethical outfit-that I gave access to some of my most critical information-getting away with highway robbery.
So buyer beware!!!
"FREE" Credit Report

The key word is "FREE" Credit Report. Yep right, I should have known that nothing is 'FREE.' I cancelled within 48 hours after I filled out the form. I should've known once a credit card was asked for that something out of line would happen. Sure enough my credit card bill came in on Saturday the 20th of June and I was charged $14.95 by CreditReport.com. The transaction was on June 12th, Posted on June 14th this means I was billed 8 days after my initial contact. I was under the impression I had two months to make my decision to keep it or kick it. I kicked it I thouht but evidently not. I've called my credit card already. Next, I'm calling them in hopes of coming to an agreement. I'm a bit upset so I hope they offer to remove the charge and return the money to the credit card company. Gosh, I Pray things go well because I'm not in the mood to be had,

Does 7 days not equal a week?? I cancelled on the last day of my supposed free trial, and the guy said I had already been charged, PLUS the info in my report was inaccurate. Then they sent an e-mail which went to my spam folder that had all these hoops I had to jump through to complete the cancellation. The guy never told me it was on its way and I found it by chance or I would still be paying for this bogus service.
