If you want to create a custom t-shirt, you have your work cut out for you. First, you have to find a company that will let you design your own. Then you have to find one that will let you print as few (or as many) as you need. How do you go about finding such a gem? Our custom t-shirt site reviews can point you in the right direction. We really liked this site's "Ideas" page. If you have a general idea regarding the type of shirt you want to design, but you're not sure how you want it to look or how to go about laying it out, these pages will provide you with more than enough inspiration.

The CustomInk.com Experience:

The CustomInk.com website is definitely geared more towards groups and businesses than many of the other custom t-shirt sites on the Web are. They offer free shipping and volume discounts, but not so much in the area of single-print orders.

The site also isn't as user-friendly as it could be. We found the text tool of the design wizard to be difficult to work with and the pages loaded rather slowly. Not to mention the fact that the overall site navigation wasn't the easiest to follow.

Even though the site says there are no minimum order requirements, that only applies to certain products. When we tried ordering just one of the women's cap-sleeved t-shirts or just one men's polo shirt, we were told we'd have to order a minimum of 6 of each. This was a bit frustrating and we wish the site were more straightforward with their order requirement information.

The ideas section of the site did make general customization of t-shirts a little bit easier. If you want to pick out one of the templates in that area of the site and customize it to your needs, the process might be less complicated and there were quite a few cute ideas to choose from.

Overall we feel that CustomInk.com probably isn't the best bet for someone who only wants to customize one or two shirts. If, on the other hand, you have a group of people you're buying for, you might find that this site is worth some consideration.
