MediaRECOVER Pro costs more than most of the competitors, but it doesn't have more to offer. We weren't able to find lost files on a CD, even though the software is supposed to be able to, and the trial wouldn't let us figure that out before forking over cash. We had to pay to register the product before we were able to try any file recovery features. This might end up being a waste of money for some users.

While MediaRECOVER Pro does serve a purpose, it needs to lower its price and improve its product before we can recommend it as a top data recovery software choice. They earn 5.0 Stars!

We had high hopes for Stellar Phoenix, but we were disappointed in our findings. First of all, the software isn't very user friendly. It's not exactly rocket science, but it's definitely not designed for novices.
