Our Favorite Feature:

Delightful Deliveries offers several monthly clubs that allow you to continually give gifts to the people you care about. They were the only site we came across that offered this service. The clubs include items such as wine, cookies, tea, beer, and even hot sauce.

The Delightful Deliveries Experience:

The Delightful Deliveries website provides a great selection of gift baskets to choose from including baskets containing bakery goods, candies, chocolates, fruit and nuts, and even gift baskets with entire gourmet meals. Talk about variety!

One of the unique features of the Delightful Deliveries website is the monthly clubs they have available. These clubs can stretch your gift giving options over three, six or twelve month periods. If you want a gift that keeps on giving, this is it.

Even though the site has a huge selection, the navigation is still pretty simple – until we got to the FAQ page anyway. That page required us to go through a maze of clicks in order to find the answers to our questions. Despite this fact, the rest of the site allowed us to move seamlessly between different gift categories. We really liked that we were able to search by occasion, gift category, price or brand.

The only other negative thing we can say about the site is that it made us hungry. You have to see it to understand where we are coming from, but we found ourselves wondering if we were gaining pounds and taking in calories just browsing the pages and the site's offerings. If we had to sum up the feel of the site in one word, it would be YUM!

Delightful Deliveries Customer Service:

Delightful Deliveries can be contacted via toll-free phone or email. The Frequently Asked Questions page is very extensive but a little difficult to navigate. When you click on a category, it sends you to a list of questions. Then, you need to select one of those questions to receive an answer. If you can’t find the answer to your question, you can do a keyword search of the FAQs, but then you have to weed through all the results. Categories covered on this page include order placement, payment information, troubleshooting, delivery guidelines, product information and business gift services.

Fortunately, email and phone support are not difficult to access. Email support responded within 24 hours and while phone support had a bit of a hold time (exceeding three minutes) they did answer our questions thoroughly once we were connected. While there is room for improvement in this area, overall it wasn't a bad experience.

Upside:

Downside:

Pricing is a bit high on some baskets.
