Fit for Kids: That’s right, for kids! Obesity has become a problem in our schools, where cafeteria dinners are made up of fries, pizza and other fattening items. Denise Austin gets our credit for addressing this problem via videos and other media.

About Denise Austin:

With her own television show, more than 20 exercise videos and a family, this 43-year-old fitness guru certainly has her share of responsibilities to juggle.

Promoting health and fitness for over 25 years, she launched the Denise Austin Fit Forever program for diet service centered on improving your fitness levels.

Denise Austin’s Website Interface:
The website is well designed (of course it helps when the spokesperson has a charismatic appearance). The member gets access to a print center, where you can print exercises and customized diets. Much of Denise’s motivational material is available in audio format, which you can’t unfortunately download to your mp3 player.

The program for diet starts by a questionnaire in which you enter all the basic stats, such as your weight, gender and goal weight. The next step is the fitness level, as we had to specify our daily activities (Running after the kids is definitely one!)

Finally, you get your daily caloric suggestion based on your profile results, and can browse through a list of weight loss diet menus fitting your profile. You can use the online tools if you need any help understanding your recommendations.

After reviewing Denise Austin’s Fit Forever service, we can easily see how this woman has built an empire with her name. Her energy and smile are contagious, and I don’t know any woman that wouldn’t want to look like her at 43 years old.

We feel although the support for men is limited, as the exercises and online material is almost 100% woman-oriented. Of course, this service makes more money with women than gentlemen, although if you even have a kid section, why not try to please all genders?

Fit Forever doesn’t provide any add-ons to your membership. You can always shop their online store, from where you can buy all kinds of stuff, from t-shirts to a treadmill and DVD’s.

Customer Support:
Denise Austin’s team gets a straight A. We called their hot line, and spoke to a representative within 6 minutes. Our question was correctly answered, as we could almost feel her smiling on the phone.

We tested the e-mail support, and received a reply within 24 hours. The discussion board is also active, but seems to involve only the female gender. Much of the online material confirms this theory, as the exercises and other resources show a strong bias toward the female gender.

Upside:
Great exercise library – Easy sign-up – Fit for kids!

Downside:
Lacks diets for men

Summary:
Losing weight with Denise Austin might be fun for you! She offers some great workouts and has an extensive exercise collection, a huge perk. There are weight loss trackers, online diet journals and tons of recipes here, so typical online diet service features are available. We would have liked to see some diet plans and features for the guys out there, so you men might want to check out other online diet services.
