Maternity shopping can be hard. There are often limited selections and finding what you want in your size can be like a looking for a needle in a haystack. It's even worse if you are on the smaller or larger end of the scale. And the stores that do carry cute clothes? They usually charge obscene prices – like $185 for a pair of Habitual jeans. Who needs that? After all, you’re only going to be wearing them for 6 to 7 months. But what if you could find a collection of affordable maternity shops offering fabulous designs in a single place? You can. During our quest to find the best online maternity stores we came across DestinationMaternity.com. Here's what we discovered...

We loved the fact that DestinationMaternity.com brings three popular maternity shops together so that you can shop them all at the same time. And the site doesn't just link you to the stores, you can actually search for a specific items and get product listings from all three stores at once!

The DestinationMaternity.com Experience:

When we first landed on the Destination Maternity homepage we were surprised at how basic the website was. Not a lot of pictures of smiling pregnant women or even a preview of the clothing available. We did, however, recognize the names featured on the site.

If you have ever had to go maternity shopping, then you have probably heard of Motherhood Maternity, Mimi Maternity, and A Pea in The Pod. Well, DestinationMaternity.com lets you shop all of these stores from one convenient website. One results page, one shopping cart, and one shipping charge. Talk about easy!

The website offers several ways to search for the items you need and then provides you with a list of the matching items that each store offers. For example, if we were searching for dresses, we would receive results with all the dresses available at Motherhood, Mimi, and A Pea in The Pod. If we preferred one of the stores over the others, we could also choose to see only the items from that specific store. It definitely beats shopping at each store individually!

We did notice that each of the three stores features caters to a different budget. Motherhood has quality items for a lower price, Mimi has items of a little better quality and style for a little more money, and A Pea in The Pod has high-quality and very fashionable items at premium prices. So, we can buy our everyday jeans for $25 each at Motherhood, a casual-but-nice shirt for work for $60 at Mimi, and a nice dress for special dinners for $150 at A Pea in The Pod – all in the same shopping trip!

To top it off, the site also allowed us to chat with other moms in the community section and create our own personal page to show off. It's definitely a must-see site for anyone interested in maternity clothes and maternity fashion.

Because DestinationMaternity.com features three different stores catering to three different budget types the prices are quite varied. From bargain prices from Motherhood to upscale designer price tags from A Pea in The Pod, you're sure to find prices your wallet can accommodate. For example, when we visited the site we found $19.99 jeans from Motherhood, $39.99 jeans from MiMi and $195 jeans from A Pea in The Pod.

Destination Maternity has a great customer service team. You can contact them by e-mail, phone, or fax. They even have a special number for overseas customers. If you don't want to place your order online, you can call the company from 9am to midnight EST every day of the week to place your order via phone. When we called the company we were greeted by a very friendly and knowledgeable associate who was more than happy to answer our questions – and we didn't even have to wait on hold!
