Customer Support:
Customer support for the Discover Open Road Card is available via phone and through an online FAQ database. Email support is only available to registered users (and you must already be a credit card holder to register at the site).
When we called Discover's phone support via the toll-free number the system kept asking us for our account number. After jumping through a few hoops, we were finally put on hold to speak with a live representative. Our hold time was approximately five minutes. The rep was able to answer our questions, although it seemed as though they were reading from a "canned" script in regards to the answers we received.
Upside:
Great way to get cheaper gas, 0-percent APR for 12 months, free auto rental insurance.
Downside:
You must have very good credit to qualify for this card.
