Free-Press-Release.com provides a venue for submitting as many press releases as you would like for free. As a free user, you can upload your press release, have it shown instantly on the site and have it indexed by Google within 24 hours. You also have the flexibility of choosing your site's keywords.

If the free services aren't tailored enough to meet your needs, the site does offer advanced services for a price. You can get editing, images, and PDF conversion added to your release for a nominal fee. You can also have the release sent to the site's subscribers list, getting additional exposure. Google indexing is also done much more quickly when you pay.

A Release Tips feature gives you all the advice and instruction you will need to write an effective press release. There are plenty of ads everywhere on the site mostly by Google that are incorporated into the design of the site.

An FAQ page provided us with most of the information we would need regarding account set up and using the site. If you don't get the answers you need online, you can submit an email request. We received an answer to our email inquiry the next business day. Unfortunately, phone support was not offered. If you are a stickler for service, you might want to go with one of the sites that offers phone support – just be aware that those sites do charge quite a bit more.

Upside:

Free press release option for occasional use, inexpensive advanced option for small businesses.

Downside:

You might not get a lot of mileage with the free service offered by this site.
