Great website for meeting longtime freinds

If you are looking for an excellent way to make a new friend then friendster.com is for you. This site offers easy search features so you can find a person through name or any other detail that you are looking for. You can also send and receive message through their server and get quicker replies than your other normal sites. You can also personalized your page and match it to your personality. The best part about all of this is that it free, I have been using this account for over three years, and thanks to them I was able to find friends in college and high school easier then myspace. I would recommend this site to all of my friends and family and I continue to use this site on a daily basis.

Friendster- My First Social Networking Experience
5
Friendster was the first social network website I ever joined. My friend Shannon sent me an invite about six years ago and I signed up to see what it was all about. I really wanted to see who was on it and stay in touch with some of my high school friends while moving away to college. It has very easy navigational tools and I did reconnect with some long lost pals of mine on Friendster. I did enjoy that it sent me an e-mail to remind me that a friend was having a birthday and it is exciting to get an add from an old or new friend. It is free to sign up and use and I prefer it over Myspace because it seems like people 25 and older on on it compared to all of the 13 year olds I see on Myspace.

I joined Friendster when I was in college because it was a new thing to do and a few friends were on it. However, I didn't like that even if you "customize" your page, it still looks way too similar to everyone elses. I only just deleted it a few months ago because I kept getting these stupid emails from the site. Another thing I did not like about the site is that it has CONSTANT pop-up video ads on pages you're looking at. That's incredibly obnoxious when you're in class trying to be quiet and your computer goes off. I also think that the user interface is much better on facebook and myspace. I think people should STAY OFF OF BANDWAGONS and just stop making MORE AND MORE sites that are trying to resemble the originals. Friendster would work if they would create a base of their own.
