Worse Customer Service

Call the Service Department, because I got over charge. Got hold for more than 30 minutes and still no one answer. As a Gold member for me its mean nothing. Never go back with Hertz again.

After an accident I was in a rental for 30 days with Hertz. I was lied to, overcharged and charged for service I didn't get. The insurance co. covering the accident allows $26.oo per day. According to the Hertz agent, no rental car company rents that low. They accepted the insurance rate and then charged me over and above that.
After swapping for the lowest rental they had, the car died at 10:30pm in the middle of movie theater lot. Called the local number no answer, called national number and they would send out a tow. Told them I would try to start it the next day. Got a ride home. Next day Sunday, my son and his friend took me back to the car, it still would not start, jumped it and drove to airport to exchange. Hertz says there was never anything wrong with the car and I will have to pay for renting it those days.
Limited cars and high prices.

Hertz rental cars are a company that offers great customer service and wonderful response time. However the rental cars prices are a lot higher then other car companies and the additional fees that are associated with the rental is more pricier then the other companies. The cars that are available through Hertz were very limited and our not up to date as the other car rental companies. Overall, I would consider this rental car company only if there is a discount or a special that they are offering because you can get a better car at another rental company at a lower price.
