Do you enjoy stories and plot lines, but don’t actually find reading books to be a pleasant pastime? If so, audio books might suit your needs to a tee. Audio books allow you to listen to the most popular titles in fiction, non-fiction, and even the old classics at your own convenience. The only problem is that most stores have limited selections of audio books available. One way to increase your range of audio book options is to shop online. We definitely appreciate the fact that Jiggerbug offers a free trial. Not many audio book websites do this. You do have to fill out an online form with your details, but after doing so you can try Jiggerbug's wide range of audio books for free for a full two weeks. This feature can help you decide whether or not Jiggerbug is the audio book resource for you.

The Jiggerbug Experience:

What makes Jiggerbug a unique audio book resource is the fact that it is actually a rental service rather than a retailer. The company rents audio books on CD, Cassette tape, MP3, and also offers free downloads.

Our first impression of Jiggerbug was a good one. We found the site to be very easy to navigate. Even the most novice Internet shopper will be able to get through the Jiggerbug pages with ease.

We were impressed by the fact that Jiggerbug offers audio book rentals in over 50 different categories. The search categories are arranged in alphabetical order for your convenience. They have an inventory of Spanish language books, Christian audio books, Political books, selections from Oprah’s Book club and more. Once you select an audio book rental, you are taken to a page with a synopsis of the audio book, which usually includes a review of the book in question.

Once you pick the audio books you want, Jiggerbug sends your selections to you. Shipping is free and they pay for return shipping when you are ready to send the book back in. You can also choose download rentals, which don't require any shipping. You just have to download Jiggerbug's free software to play them on your PC.

Jiggerbug offers a variety of membership plans including 6-month memberships and 12-month membership options. The membership fees are fairly reasonable, but only if you are an avid audio book listener. If not, you may end up paying over $100 for a year of service and not getting your money's worth. If you listen to dozens of audio books each year, Jiggerbug can be the ideal solution. If, however, you only relax with an occasional title, Jiggerbug probably isn't for you.

Jiggerbug’s customer service is fairly dependable. The FAQ page is easily accessible and addresses the primary concerns most customers would have, such as costs, membership options, download help, and more. We were happy to see that Jiggerbug also offers a helpful Quick Start Guide to demonstrate the download process for their software.

Jiggerbug offers service via email support as well as a toll-free customer service number. Email support was quick and responsive and phone support answered our call in less than two minutes, connecting us to a helpful and knowledgeable representative. Overall, we have to say Jiggerbug has definitely been "reading up" on customer service standards.

Jiggerbug - Cool

Jiggerbug has a GREAT selection. They send the audiobooks right out. Oh--and another great thing is that they have people with different sections to walk with you through some book lists and ideas online. Some examples would be the section for New Age to the Classics to the Science Fiction/ Fantasy section--they have real people put lists together of their favorites to help lead you around the jiggerbug library. It is so cool. And in so many ways.
