The online college, Kaplan University, was designed to be an institution of higher learning so that working professionals could continue to further their education while still maintaining their busy lives and work schedules. Kaplan University was founded in 1937, and has since kept up with the demands of life’s educational necessities. This university offers a vast array of online degree programs for just about any path that a student is in search of taking.

Students have nearly the same classroom and higher learning experience from any internet connection as they would within a campus classroom.
User friendly environment as well as interactive and social networking availability.
Kaplan University is an accredited college.
Financial Aid, Scholarships, and Grants are accepted.

Credit Transfer Policy

At the time of our review, we only found that transfers of credits from Kaplan University or affiliated online educational institution was available if a grade of C or higher was achieved in the coursework at Kaplan University and that until Kaplan University receives an official transcript and has reviewed the paperwork, the credits will not be transferred.

Depending on the degree program of choice, the Per-Credit tuition costs range from $350 to $420.

Higher Learning Classroom Experience

Students at Kaplan University will receive nearly the same experience from their online higher education as they would if they were to attend a regular campus classroom. The difference is that the students of Kaplan University will attend classes on their own time and when it is convenient for them. They are able to interact with other students who attend Kaplan University as well as the instructors and faculty.

A full complimentary access of the Library Resources is also what makes this online school unique. They have access to books, microform collections, periodicals, and other reference tools which is very valuable as students complete their assignments. The interaction between both students and professors is what makes the virtual classroom experience so great, as online students do not feel that they are missing out on discussions they would get in a traditional classroom.

Kaplan was very helpful to me on the phone so far and they seemed to have everything i needed. Now i just need to see how the transfer of credits is going to go, that is a huge issue for me. I really dont want to take some of these classes again.
