Our Favorite Feature:

We really liked that KBB offers separate quotes for trade in, retail and private party values. Because the price a dealer will pay you for a car and what you'd pay the dealer for the exact same model can differ by thousands, it's important to know exactly what you're looking at. This site provides you the information you need.

The KBB Experience:

We really liked the look and feel of the KBB.com website. Unlike other sites we visited, the front page really did lead you to new and used car values rather than listings of cars for sale. While you can access listings of available vehicles from the site, KBB puts price quotes first and foremost. That's a huge plus in our book.

Getting values on the cars you're interested in is very easy. You can search by make and model of the vehicle or by car category and style. If you decide you want to buy a car you've researched prices on, you can secure a dealer quote or locate a dealership that carries the particular vehicle you are looking for.

We were also happy to see that KBB was one of the few sites that offered a research section that allows you to search cars using a “miles per gallon” filter. This is really going to be valuable if you're one of the many consumers who's really being hit hard by the prices at the pump.
