We really like the fact that Let's Talk Business Network is geared strictly towards business owners and executives. It's not an open membership. You must apply on the site. A representative will then contact you about becoming a member. This makes this the best business networking site for those who want to network with an exclusive group of high-level execs rather than network on an “anything goes” networking website.

The Let's Talk Business Network really is different from many of the other business networking sites on the Web. First and foremost, membership isn't open to just anyone. You need to be approved to become a Let's Talk Business Network member. The company believes that business owners and executives can benefit by learning from one another's experiences and they use that philosophy to cater to the needs of their members.

The Let's Talk Business Network Experience:

When you log onto the LTBN website, you'll notice that it's not your typical networking service. The membership link doesn't just bring you to a sign-up form. It explains what it takes to be a Let's Talk Business Network member, why people join and what membership can do for you.

When you arrive to the website, take some time browsing the “Services” and “Membership” links. It will give you an idea of whether or not the website will fit your particular needs. In addition to a Let's Talk Business Network membership, you can also purchase tickets to events, which tend to feature guest speakers such as Jim McCann (Founder of 1-800-Flowers.com), Wally Amos (Famous Amos), Fred Deluca (Founder of Subway), Dave Winfield (Baseball legend and new author), and other high-successful businessmen and women.

It is important to note that the meetings take place in New York. If you don't live in the area or aren't willing to fly there for the events, this might not be your cup of tea.
