We really liked LunarPage's LPQuicksite plan. It's perfect for the novice and allows beginners to get a website up and running in only 2 hours at a very affordable price. The package not only includes web hosting services, but design, publishing, and content management services as well.

The LunarPages Experience:

We found LunarPage's hosting services to be quite versatile. Their plans offer a number of features, offering everything from basic hosting services all the way to Windows Virtual Private hosting. The packages do vary in content, so you're going to want to read the fine print on the different package deals before signing up for a specific product.

We were quite impressed by the promotions the LunarPages website was running. There are several new deals included in each of the web hosting packages available and LunarPages frequently adds new features and deals to their offerings. That being said, it's important to note that many of these deals are only available to new customers, so don't expect to reap the rewards continuously into the future.

We also liked the fact that LunarPages offers free domain registration. Some packages offer 1 free domain name while others we saw offered up to 4 domains. Considering the fact that some sites charge upwards of $20 per domain registration, this can create quite a substantial savings – especially if you're in need of more than one URL.

It was also interesting to see that in addition to general web hosting, LunarPages also has “Reseller” hosting services. If you are interested in developing your own web hosting service and selling private label hosting to clients, LunarPages can help you do it.

LunarPages offers a wide variety of customer support options. Customers can access forums, a knowledge base, a detailed frequently asked questions page, and a glossary of web hosting terminology. They also have additional resources such as helpful downloads and external links that can assist with web hosting difficulties or web development issues.

LunarPages representative are also available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, by phone, e-mail or online Live Chat. Phone support had a bit of a hold time (6 minutes) and email support was a little delayed (one business day) but chat support was much smoother and we were able to connect in seconds and get answers to our questions quickly and without hassle.

Upside:
