Navigating the Mags4Cheap website:

We had a difficult time surfing this website, as there weren’t many resourceful links and the text was incredibly small. We would have liked to see clearer links to a help section, about us, or other relevant information. Although it was fairly easy to search for magazine titles themselves, we just found the site to be a bit cluttered. If you cannot find what you’re looking for in the extensive category list, you can do a keyword search or choose to sort by price range in a dropdown menu. Both of those options worked for us, which left us content. Although, if Mags4Cheap did a site revamp, we wouldn’t complain.

Selection:

We liked Mags4Cheap’s extensive collection of magazine titles and found most of the issues we were looking for. They boast over 1,600 magazines, which is a pretty impressive number in our books. Customers can choose from a wide array of categories, from ‘Crafts & Hobbies’ and ‘Current Events’ to ‘Comics & Humor’ and ‘Aviation.’ Under each category, we liked how the bestsellers were featured up front and the remaining were listed alphabetically by title.

Subscription Rates:

Mags4Cheap holds its own compared to other magazine discount websites, with its low-price-guarantee and speedy magazine-finder. There’s no need to worry about taxes or shipping costs, and they provide contacts to publisher’s website just so the consumer can check it out.

Responses take a day or so, but we were pleased with the results. Telephone support was also efficient, eliciting a helpful and informative response. We were a little disappointed in the absence of a FAQs section, which is pretty common on most magazine subscription service sites. But, all in all, we feel this site values their customers’ questions and doesn’t limit their support to members only.

Cluttered website interface. Difficult to navigate at times.

We really liked the number of customer reviews and recommended titles, as this helps make your purchasing decisions that much easier. Customer support was right on point, eliciting informative and friendly responses by telephone and online form. We would have liked a FAQs section and a more organized site feel, but all in all, we were happy with Mags4Cheap!
