Marketwire Pricing:

While Marketwire offers a wealth of free information on its site, actual prices for press release information were not readily available. You need to contact the company directly to get a quote, and the quote given will vary based on your specific needs. While we understand the company's logic for operating this way, we really prefer to see up-front menu style pricing when dealing with press release distribution services.

Marketwire Customer Service:

If you are interested in contacting Marketwire's customer service department you can do so via an email link on the site or by calling their toll-free service number. We found email support to be rather vague in their response to our question, but phone support was more than helpful and we felt the rep really understood our questions and concerns.

Upside:

A wealth of tools and information for the PR & IR professional, up-to-the minute news feeds, free online resource center.

Downside:

It would be nice to have up-front, menu-style pricing information, but it is clear that Marketwire wants a face to face (or voice to voice, rather) sales call before providing you with any pricing guidelines.
