Our Favorite Feature:

One of the things we liked best about Memorable Gifts was their order tracking feature. This is a feature that you usually only find with big-name websites. For a smaller Internet shop to offer this service is fantastic. No more sitting around wondering about your order’s status, just hop on the website and find out!

The Memorable Gifts Experience:

When we went to the Memorable Gifts website, the first thing we noticed is that we could search by a product keyword in order to pull up an immediate list of the specific item we were looking for. We always appreciate keyword searches as they tend to save a lot of time if you have a general idea of what type of gift you're looking for.

The next thing we noticed was that Memorable Gifts offers free personalization on any item purchased. This not only saves money, but gives the gifts you buy a little something extra, so that they are truly special to the people who receive them.

As we continued taking in the homepage, we were amazed by the categories. Not only were many of the top-level categories unique from other online gift shops, but there were many different lower-level categories as well. This made searching for a gift much easier and less time consuming.

If we weren’t sure about an item, there were product review sections at the bottom of each product page to help us make our decision. We trusted these reviews because they were made by other customers of MemorableGifts.com and not the site or the manufacturers of the items. Customer reviews definitely add something special to the shopping experience and we like the fact that we can always go back and add a review of our own.

Personalizing gifts is easy. Once we found the item we were looking for, we simply had to type in what we wanted monogrammed on the item, select the quantity, and add the item to our cart. When it was time for us to checkout, we were able to choose from using a credit card, Paypal, or Google checkout. The variety of payment options available was just icing on the cake of this user-friendly experience.

Memorable Gifts Customer Service:

Memorable Gifts makes sure that, if you have a questions, you can get the answer several different ways. The site offers a customer service section with a detailed FAQ and “All you need to know about …” pages. They also offer help via phone support and four different email addresses. We found phone and email support to be very prompt and helpful. Phone support had no hold time and email support got back to us the very next day.

Upside:

Free personalization, gift wrapping available, online order tracking.

Downside:

Pricing of gifts and shipping can be a bit on the high side.

My fiance had recently gotten a new job that was a semi-promotion from his old job and was now Vice President of a portion of his company.
