Razor Gator is known for providing hard-to-find tickets. Even if an event is sold out, they offer hope of still being able to attend. Whether you want to see the World Series or hit the hottest Broadway shows, this website probably has the tickets.
While Razor Gator does cater to those looking for hard-to-find tickets and sold-out events, they also offer tickets to many common events. Star Reviews loved Razor Gator's event packages. For example, if you’re interested in attending the Rose Bowl, Razor Gator offers the “Total Event Experience” which includes an end zone game ticket (upgrades available), hotel accommodations at the Hilton, access to the Official Rose Bowl Pre-Game Celebration with live entertainment, food and an open bar, and a seat at the Grandstand Rose Parade. Ticket Liquidator is one of the newer ticket event websites. They've quickly become the second-most-popular online resource for event tickets. The company prides itself on offering some of the lowest prices and best service around.
Ticket Liquidator has an impressive inventory of tickets to choose from. There are more than 3.2 million tickets for sale to more than 60,000 events across the country. Ticket Liquidator website even offers tickets to the hottest shows in Las Vegas. When Star Reviews ran our price comparison, they did come in with the best prices, some better than others.

What we found to be really cool is that Ticket Liquidator recommends area restaurants and offers directions when purchasing tickets to an event. The downside to this site we felt was their layout. While design isn't everything, it didn't have the appeal that some of their competitors did.
What Ticket Liquidator lacked in design, we felt they made up in customer support. Not only was their phone rep extremely helpful, email support was just as prompt and responsive. All in all this site deserves Star Reviews Most Popular spot with 5.5 Stars.

For more than 30 years, Ticketmaster has been providing the public with event ticket sales. They are probably the largest and most well known event tickets site. In addition to selling tickets directly to the public, Ticketmaster also offers an online marketplace called Ticket Exchange. Ticket Exchange allows people to sell tickets they no longer want or need via the Ticketmaster website. This appears to be a new feature!
Ticketmaster offers a good variety of tickets, including sporting events, concerts and live shows. Ticketmaster also offers tickets to the hottest “reality show” events such as the American Idols Live tour and the Dancing with the Stars tour, which Star Reviews thought was very neat.

Star Reviews really like the functionality of the Ticketmaster site. The best part is that they have seating charts available for most major venues, allowing you to see exactly where your seats are before purchasing. On the other hand, Ticketmaster's fees are incredibly high; can sometimes be as high as 50 percent of the face value of the ticket! We recommend checking other sources along with Ticketmaster. Tickets Now is a great site to find your event tickets. Their fees are average - not excellent and not horrible, but their selection is great. Their customer support was average - Star Reviews had a pleasant experience with phone support, but has yet to receive a response to our email inquiry! All in all, we had a pleasant experience and award Tickets Now 5.0 Stars.

Star Reviews found StubHub to be the most expensive when it comes to their fees, charging a 10 percent commission to buy tickets and a 15 percent commission to sell tickets! StubHub allows ticket holders to sell their tickets on their site in either a "fixed price" or "auction" format. We felt that their competitors offer better deals.
One neat feature we found was their gift finder that will help you to locate the perfect gift. Just let the Gift Finder know what type of ticket your gift recipient would be interested in, how many tickets you need and what your budget is and the gift finder returns a selection of tickets that meet your criteria.
Stub Hub proved to offer good phone support, but we had no such luck reaching them by email. With their high fees and poor email support Star Reviews gives them 4.5 Stars.

OpenSeats is a trading community for people who want to buy or sell event tickets online. This company links up buyers and sellers, but does not buy or sell tickets directly. Upon visiting their site Star Reviews found the design to be rather boring, and navigating the site wasn't as user-friendly as other ticket sales websites. OpenSeats has thousands of tickets available for concerts, sporting events, theater performances and other shows and events across the country. Open Seats currently has tickets to Wicked, The Police and MLB games featured on their homepage, all popular picks. During our research we noticed that OpenSeats does not charge sellers to post their tickets for sale on the website. They do, however, request that sellers pay a voluntary fee of $3 per ticket if their tickets are successfully sold via the site. - Voted one of "10 Essential Sites" by Time Magazine.

Star Reviews is known for critiquing customer support, and while we had a pleasant phone experience with Open Seats, we were left with no response to our emails. We were disappointed by the lack of follow through. Between their bland website and our poor support experience we can only give Open Seats 4.0 Stars.
