The Panda Internet Security 2009 Experience:

When it came to setup, Panda Internet Security 2009 was pretty much run of the mill. The download and install times were average, and we really didn't run into any problems following the installation prompts.

Once we had the program up and running, using it was a breeze as long as you stick to the default options. The main interface was very easy to navigate and we liked the fact that a green light let us know everything was running as it should and that our computer was protected.

Now, if you don't want to use Panda's default settings and you prefer to do some customization, Panda may becoming a frustrating product. You have to go through quite a few menus to actually customize any options. The process is not a complete nightmare, but it's not nearly as simple as some of the other software companies have made it.

Another thing we didn't like about Panda Internet Security 2009 is that the email scanner only works with Outlook. If you use programs like Incredimail or Thundermail for your email needs you'd best look into another Internet security product.

If, however, Outlook is what you use and you don't mind a complicated customization process, then Panda's advanced security technology and great pricing may be enough to sway you to invest in their brand.

Panda Customer Service:

Panda's customer support isn't the best, but it's better than nothing. There's an extensive FAQ and information center that was rather impressive. If you can't find your answers there, you can contact the company via email. When we sent an inquiry we received a helpful, albeit generic, response the next business day. Unfortunately no phone support was offered We'd like to see Panda consider this level of support at some point in the future since many of the other companies are doing just that.

Upside:

Easy to install, comprehensive protection, remote data backup included.

Downside:

Customization of options is a bit complicated.

My Pc had get infected by cetain type of malware and certain virus come from internet. I want the security that protect my pc from infection and my pc shounld remain clean from unwanted data. I have purchase a Panda security software 2009 cheap.
So thanks to starreviews to give a best internet security software and service.

Great easy and safe program

I was very iffy about putting Panda on my boss' home computer because she always seems to screw her computers up so easily and I hadn't heard much about Panda at all. However, I still decided to install it to try it out and it worked nicely. It installed very quickly and it has been 3 months since the install and I have had only one complaint- that I haven't been to my boss' house in 3 months!!! She hasn't run into any problems yet, which basically means it's easy for HER to understand how to use and that's all that matters. No bugs have infected her system yet and I'll give that credit to Panda.
