We really loved how intuitive and fun-filled the Evite party planning website was! Upon entry to the site, we were amazed at how vibrant and easy on the eyes it was. We quickly realized that this wasn't your average party planning and supplies service. Rather, they have an interesting take on event planning and almost take a social networking route, allowing you to send out invites by email and allowing friends and family members to post messages and RSVP on your invite page! - Budget estimation calculators
- Send FREE eCards & invitations to mobile phones!
Star Reviews loves an innovative website, and Evite definitely delivers. They had a great idea and surely do the best at it. Instead of offering party supplies, they give party planners organizational tools and checklists to ensure the big day is just perfect. You can even punch in how many guests you're inviting and receive customized alcohol and food purchase help, so there's enough for everyone! Best of all, this site is totally free. While you may see some pop-up ads from Target and other companies, the site isn't a hassle to browse. There are some FAQs if you should need assistance, and email support is very quick (although, we did receive a 'canned' response). All in all, we loved this site! They get 5.0 Stars!

When we were searching for the most unique and simple-to-grasp party planning services, MyPunchbowl was one of our stops along the way. We liked how basic, yet useful this site was! This site is very similar to Evite, in that they allow a party planner to organize and send out invitations electronically. But, this site takes things further by allowing you to essentially let guests 'Pick a Date' and vote on what party date best fits their schedules (to avoid cancellations if a friend is out of town or has to work). Who likes being stood up when they've planned an event for months? We sure don't! - Penelope Plans-offers party planning advice to site visitors
- After Party-Share and upload photos/videos from the event once it's over.
Star Reviews loves how MyPunchbowl gives you fun choices in your invitation template designs. You can send e-vites and receive RSVP's online, as well as scope out nearby stores selling party supplies. Best of all, this service is completely free. Ok, so you may have to deal with a few Google Ads, but those never hurt anyone (just ignore them if you don't like them). Customer support is stellar here, with resourceful FAQS, friendly telephone support and an efficient email response coming in an hour after we sent in our question. This is party planning customer support at its finest! They receive 5.0 Stars!

We had high expectations for Party Spot when we first graced their website with our presence. Alright, in all seriousness, we expected alot, especially since they're tied to TheKnot.com, a popular wedding resource website. The site itself was fun and festive, with enough resources and links to put their competition to shame. However, with that being said, there aren't really any organizational tools like checklists or budget calculators here, which we really hoped to see! - Slideshows of party themes and party items
- Party Spot Shop - Shop for fun party supplies such as thank you notes, pastel disposable cameras, cake serving sets and decorations.
Star Reviews admires Party Spot for considering the pre-planning stages of events and parties. There are TONS of resources and articles here on topics ranging from how much to tip a party bartender to how to go about choosing vendors. You can also shop for some cute party favors, gifts and decorations in the Party Spot Shop. The site is free to use, but to search for vendors, you'll have to sign up first. The vendor list wasn't as extensive as we would have liked to see. When we searched for a caterer in Indiana, we couldn't find any, as opposed to LA, which yielded many more results. Customer support was virtually absent here, but we do realize it's more of an informational site. All in all, they receive 5.0 Stars!

We found a pretty cool party planning service called Party POP and although we weren't too impressed by their website interface, we decided to dig deeper anyway. This is an online directory of party planning resources, such as vendor contacts for wedding or party needs like musicians, disc jockeys, a/v equipment and things of that sort. - List of vendors arranged by service and by region; have vendors contact you
- Budget estimators
While we applaud Party POP in creating a directory of vendors and informational resources, we think this site is more attuned to big events and weddings than smaller get together's. But, if you want to plan a big party, it can be quite useful. There is seating chart software available free of charge and can assist you in planning a wedding reception if you're a registered Party POP member. Also, remember Party POP is only a directory and lists any vendor who pays the money, so you'll still need to do your homework before signing any contracts. Customer support is good here, both by email and telephone. We award them with 4.5 Stars!

We weren't initially impressed too much by the Best Party Ever party planning service and think you're better off checking out some of their competition. While the site itself didn't have the extensive resources and features than some of their competitors, we do realize they are revamping their website to include many new features. - All-new website design this fall -Complete with expanded party planning tools, improved search mechanisms, new user and vendor profile systems and more!
- Search for vendors by region or party type
While this site is free for those planning a party, when you utilize their party planning checklists and guestlists, don't expect to be able to import address books through Excel or anything like that. You'll have to manually enter in all of your information, so those who don't like this idea should look elsewhere. While this site does host a good amount of vendors, when we searched through them, we found some vendors that were out of business. Of course, this wasn't good news. While their service is free, we feel their lack of customer support (you're limited to a few FAQs and snail mail...email is reserved for advertiser's) earns them 3.5 Stars!
