It has also got a section 'Rare' where you can find many rare books not easily available elsewhere. The website provides for many links for browsing sections, bestsellers, new arrivals. There is a section where you can find books on Sale. You can also find DVDs on the website. You can also find electronic books in eBooks section. The website also provides for Gift Cards. You can also find signed editions of noted authors. The website also provides for various book reviews. It also provides for blog. You can find books on various subjects, authors from many countries and so on.

The website also provides for newsletter subscription by email. While doing so you can even get a chance to win $250 prize.

All in all, it is a good website. I give it 5 star rating.

I was searching around for some of my history textbooks (really just history books, nothing "textbook" about them) and found Powell's through Google. I checked out their website and found exactly what I was looking for. I bought 3 books from them, all were labeled as used, and they were cheaper on this site than Amazon, which is what I usually use (only they wanted face price for the 3 books I wanted). I really love that they have a sidebar where you can pick your categories of books you're looking for and the BEST part, at least for a history fanatic like myself, is that when you click on history books, the next sidebar breakdown is by historical event. My books were about the Revolutionary War and the 20 years immediately following it and I thought it was so cool that they had a section just on that!!! They also have a "top 10" section for each area of interest and I check back about 2/week to see any new titles.
