RCI Great Deal? Want to buy my timeshare?

To the person that reviewed RCI and gave it a 4 star rating - do you want to buy my timeshare? The points program has changed without providing any written notice to members. I tried to use my points this week, and can now only use 30% of my current use year points - and none of my banked points for the points partner program. If you want a timeshare buy through ones of the large corporations and do your trading through them - Not RCI.
bad start

I was looking for a timeshare/vacation club online. I went to the RCI site because I recognized the name, but there was no way to access the site-unless you are a member. I won't be.
Do not use RCI vacation club

We have owned a local time share condo for many years and last year decided to trade our location through RCI -- just for a change. I hated the process, because you have to pay the fees and give up or "bank" your own condo before you can even search to see what other destinations are available. After we banked the condo, we could not find a destination within 8 hours driving time that we wanted. But, we could not get our other one back. We were supposed to have two years to find a place, but if you don't re-join RCI the second year, you cannot even search for destinations anymore. Then, the worst part of all... they provide your name and contact information to other companies who will then flood you with calls day-in and day-out to ask you to rent or sell your time share. Now that it is near summer time (when we have our time share week), we have NO PEACE at home with these phone calls. I have now asked for RCI to put us on their "do not contact" list, and we will never do business with them again. We didn't know what we were in for.
