The installation and set-up of Advanced System Optimizer took a little longer than some of the other products Star Reviews tested, but this is probably due in part to the fact that the product has a much broader functionality than many of its competitors. Once Advanced System Optimizer was installed on our system, we were thoroughly impressed by the broad range of features and the increase we experienced in our system's speed and performance. Not only did Advanced System Optimizer repair and optimize our Windows registry, but it also provided us with a number of other useful optimization tools. - Integrated spyware protection.
- Auto-Start manager, file organization features, file repair functions, sticky note icon tray program
Star Reviews appreciated all the extra "perks" this registry cleaner came with, but as a downside we did not find this software as easy to use. This registry repair software also comes with a higher price of $39.95, so you are paying for the additional features. Star Reviews was pleasantly surprised to see a fee 800 number available for those in need of support. With that said, we awarded Advanced System Optimizer 5.5 Stars!

Reg Organizer installed without a problem and setup took just a few mouse clicks. Once we had the program up and running, operating it was very easy, although the interface can be somewhat intimidating. Reg Organizer, like some of its competitors, offers a great backup and restore feature, ensuring that accidentally removed information is never completely lost. One attribute we really liked was that Reg Organizer allows you to run the registry in either a "normal" setting or an "advanced" setting. This allows both novice and advanced users to work at a level that they are comfortable with. - Advanced registry search feature.
- Integrated disk cleanup tool.
- Built-in software uninstaller.
Reg Organizer is a little more complex than some of the other registry cleaners we used. We also felt their pricing was a little high ($39.95) for a standard registry repair software. With that aside, this product did a great job cleaning our PC up, and customer support followed up with us via email in a timely fashion, but they did not offer any phone support. Star Reviews gives them 5.0 Stars.

When we installed Ace Utilities, we ran into absolutely no problems. The process was seamless and took less than 10 minutes from the beginning of the download till the point when we had the program up and running. We found the all-in-one wizard, which allowed us to run all scans from one interface, very convenient and easy to use. The only thing we really didn't like about this application is the fact that it wouldn't allow us to kill processes that were currently running. It did, however, work wonderfully when it came to cleaning our registry. The scanning process was rather seamless. - Helpful uninstall manager for third-party applications.
- Compatible with Windows Vista.
Ace Optimizer ran great on our PC. The only downside to our experience was the lack of customer support. They do not offer any phone support, and our email went unanswered for three days. We commend their competitive pricing, but we aren't sure it's worth the trouble we went through to reach support. Star Reviews gives Ace Optimizer 4.5 Stars.

Star Reviews found Fix-It Utilities registry cleaning software to be a bit more time consuming to install than its competitors were, and we were required to install multiple segments rather than just one. The download process also took longer (approximately twenty minutes). While this did add quite a bit of time to the download and install time, it wasn't too much of an inconvenience. Once the program was successfully up and running, operation was a breeze. Fix-It Utilities offered us multiple wizards to use, depending on which task we wanted to perform. This makes implementation of the product's various applications easy for even the most novice of users. - Integrated virus protection, spyware detection and removal

Fix-It Utilities is another registry cleaner that incorporates spyware and virus protection. We will say this interface is rather basic but easy to use. We were unimpressed with the installation process not to mention flabbergasted at the cost of their customer support...$24.95 for the first 10 minutes! But, we did like alot of their features such as the SystemExplorer which provides you with statistical scan reports. Fix-It Utilities receives 4.5 Stars!

Star Reviews found Error Nuker to be a well put together program that is not only simple to use, but highly effective. While Error Nuker registry cleaning software is not loaded with features, it does come with all the features that are necessary for repairing your computer’s errors. Error Nuker was easy to install, the set-up was uncomplicated, and the software itself was very user friendly. - Scans application paths, uninstall info, help files, file extensions, font files, most recently used files, shared DLLs, shared folders, startup programs, and shortcuts.

Star Reviews liked that you have the ability to manually select each error, giving you all the control or you can do a "select all" and fix all the errors that Error Nuker recommends. Before you remove any errors, Error Nuker creates an essential back up of your system allowing you to restore it at any time should you ever make a mistake. Their scan will only take up 3 minutes of your time, which is one of the fastest registry cleaner scans. We came across some difficulties try to remove this software and when we contacted their support we found no phone numbers, and it was days till we received an email response. At $39.95 we feel this is too expensive, especially with our customer support experience. Star Reviews gives Error Nuker 4.0 Stars.
