We had to look at the cell phone ring tone service Blinko and we liked what we saw. Although the website interface itself can be improved, it isn't too difficult to find what you're looking for.
Visitors to the Blinko website can choose from Real, Polyphonic or Video Ringtones, where the ringtones are broken up even further into category. We noticed the selection wasn't as great or easily-searchable as other ring tone services we've encountered. However, we enjoyed the high-quality audio samples they provided us with.

Star Reviews likes how this service keeps things simple, overall. They aren't overly technological with features that the novice Internet user couldn't figure out.  When it comes to a huge selection of ringtone downloads, Jamster is one of the leaders on the Web. That being said, make sure you understand that signing up for Jamster is like asking for text spam. You're gonna get it whether you want it or not. Before you sign up, make sure you have unlimited texting included with your cell plan or you might pay more for your downloads than you bargain for. As far as customer service goes, Jamster is on the ball with that too. Live chat, phone support, email support and an FAQ. What more can you ask for? Combine it with affordable pricing and it's not hard to see why Jamster is capturing more and more of the market share each and every day. We decided they deserve 5.0 Stars!

Thumbplay does not give a good first impression, but after making your way through the ads and pop-ups, you will find that the website does feature a generally attractive design. The colors of the site are subdued and easy to view. Browsing the site is limited due to the absence of drop-down menus, but categories such as Holiday Products and Top 10 Lists make it easier to find what you’re looking for.  FlyCell ringtone services are clearly targeted at teenagers and the lack of customer support and pricing information implies that FlyCell is well-aware of its young demographic. Judging by this and the fact that FlyCell's pre-recorded message insists that parents are responsible for the charges incurred by their children lead us to believe that FlyCell may not be entirely up front in its pricing and fee policies.

Another thing we didn't like about the site was it's bright, flashing icons and flash media. It took forever for some pages to load and gave us a bit of a headache. That being said, FlyCell definitely has their game on when it comes to selection.
FlyCell offers a huge selection of ringtones as well as a variety of mobile games and applications. Just don't expect to get any of those service or products for free (or even cheap). FlyCell is a bit pricey, whether you're paying for the $9.99 monthly subscription or buying downloads individually. Overall, it's a good site for those who want to download one or two popular ringtones every so often. If, however, you're one of those who likes to change your ringtones frequently, there are other less-expensive options out there. All in all, we give FlyCell 4.5 Stars!

 RingFactory advertises a great product that would be of useful to many cell phone owners. The idea of being able to design your own ringtones and wallpapers is quite original and clever, not to mention it can save you quite a bit of money over time. It's not hard to see where the appeal of RingFactory comes into play for many ringtone fanatics. - Turn Any Part Of Your Favorite Songs Into Personalized Ringtones

That being said, we have a problem with the level of support offered by the site. The company does not provide a customer service number, email support seems to be unreachable and the online information available leaves much to be desired. Overall, RingFactory could be a big hit, but the customer service issues make it more of a miss than we'd like to see. Our suggestion? If the concept behind RingFactory appeals to you, go for it. Check out the free trial and if you can use the software without a problem, the lack of support may not be an issue for you. If, however, you just can't stomach customer support problems, RingFactory probably isn't going to be your cup of tea. We award RingFactory 4.5 Stars!

When searching for the best ringtones, we came across Ringtone Jukebox and we were shocked at the number of cell phone carriers they provide service to.
They offer monophonic, polyphonic and real ringtones and we thought their ringtone search mechanism was user-friendly. No need to worry if a ringtone is compatible with your cell phone-you may also browse by mobile provider.
