I am so much happier with the deluxe than i was with Norton. I could actually get some support and the product was easy to get installed. Thanks shield deluxe

I wish I was able to click on 'No Stars'. I installed Shield Deluxe in Jan/08 and put up with their terrible customer (non)service and figured better safe than sorry. I re-upped this past January because I was lazy. I will never be lazy again. This is a terrible product. There is always a warning message no matter how many times you scan or 'fix the issue'. Customer Service is anything but, and they have the audacity to charge for discontinuing their 'service'. I warn all of my friends to steer clear of this no matter how many rave reviews they see online (which were probably written by the company anyways). Terrible business practices, terrible product, terrible 'support. Good riddance.

Although I have no complaints about the effectiveness of the product itself, I have found that when the updater is running (and it runs frequently!) my whole system freezes up. It's very frustrating, especially since I work at home on my computer and can't afford to have that kind of time being wasted. The same goes when it's scanning my computer. It takes several hours to complete the scan, and during that time, it's not worth bothering to even use the computer unless I want to tear my hair out!
