Quick & Easy to find what you want
4
Simply Recipes is a good quick source for recipes. As soon as you hit the homepage recipe categories by main ingredient are right there in a large section. The homepage also features some interesting recipes, which change on a regular basis. Wheat free, low carb and vegetarian recipes are also easy to find straight from the homepage. For those seeking a recipe which does not fit readily into the homepage options, the recipe index area will quickly steer you toward what you need. I have never purchased from them, but a shopping area is offered on the site. A well organized site, which is worth checking out.

I'm an avid cook and I always like to surf the net for online recipes so I've been to every website possible for recipes online. I found Simply Recipes to not be so great. It's convenient that they have areas on the left margin where you can pick ingredients that you're interested in using, the types of dishes you're looking to make or the way in which you'd like to cook. However, I find their selection to be lacking and I think that users should be able to put in comments and suggestions on how to "upgrade" a recipe. I like to read how others have put certain spices in or changed up a recipe. I did like that they have photos for some recipes of different steps to the recipe, but again, just because it looks pretty doesn't mean it tastes pretty and I'd prefer comments over photos.
