As consumers, we love companies offering solid product guarantees. It proves the company has faith in its product, and is making a solid effort to gain your trust. Interestingly, this is the unique selling proposition behind the new anti-spyware software, SpyZooka, released by software giant BluePenguin.

User Interface and Product Application

Downloading SpyZooka anti-spyware software was a snap, as the application is close to 3MB. The user interface provides all the basic features, as you can see your latest scan statistics, update your definition or perform a system scan.

You can also adjust advanced features, such as window host files and your browser settings, and let you decide if the application should run on start-up. Updating SpyZooka is easily accessible from the opening window, and only needs two clicks.

Scanning our system with the spyware cleaner is effortless, although we noticed our system booting up slower, presumably as the application needs a couple of files to load correctly.

Customer Support

First major strike against the spyware cleaner, the customer support is limited, as they offer a ticket system as the only way to communicate with customer service. Is it because they are overconfident with their bulletproof guarantee? None the less, they claim to be working around the clock 24/7.

There is no phone number support or e-mail address, and the online FAQ covers a handful of questions. At the spyware cleaner’s defense, the ticket system works well, as we received a personalized reply within 24 hours, and from the SpyZooka President. (Thank you Mr. President!)

We have to admit, this is an intriguing piece of software. Too bad our system is slower loading up since installing the spyware detector, although computers with more than a gig of memory shouldn’t see a difference.

From the looks of this site it looks to homemade for me

When I was looking for spyware for my laptop, I stumbled upon SpyZooka and decided to take a look at their product. For the price of the product it looked like a great way for notice of spy ware and ad ware on your computer. However after further review, I noticed that this product looks a little homemade and the site was not secure for credit card purchases. To avoid the risk of having my identity stolen, I decided not to pursue this software so I would not further damage my computer. If someone tries this product and recommend this then I would try this product for myself, however the website was not secure and it was too much of a risk to install.
