Sublet.com is a great website to go to if you are looking for a place to rent in a smaller area. Sublet offers private listings from renters that are looking for someone to take over their apartment lease for various reasons. However, this website is fee based with a monthly membership fee which shows unlimited listing and the contact number of the renter. I think the concept of the website is great since you are able to get private listing and or looking for a short term lease. However, you can get the same deal on craigslist or even apartments.com or local newspaper without having to pay a monthly. Overall, I think it is a great site, but LOSE the silly monthly fee.
