Navigating the ThinkFinancial Website:
Navigating the ThinkFinancial website was as easy as 1-2-3. The site is broken down into two main sections. Section one is for applying for your loan and checking on the status. Section 2 is for student finance information and researching student loans.

While the ThinkFinancial website was definitely easy to navigate, we felt that there could have been more tools and resources made available. Most of the content on the ThinkFinancial website revolved around the company's products rather than student lending in general. We found very little information regarding grants and scholarships, which was a bit of a let down.

All in all, the ThinkFinancial website is a great place to go if you already know everything you need to about student lending and are ready to apply for a loan. However, if you want information on grants, scholarships or other finance information not related to ThinkFinancal products, there are better sites to go to.

ThinkFinancial's Customer Support:
While ThinkFinancial does offer customer service via phone, online help and phone, we were less than impressed by a few of ThinkFinancial's customer support services. While the FAQ database wasn't exactly extensive (there were a total of 11 questions and answers), the "Student Loan Overview" and "Compare Student Loan" sections did add value. However, what really upset us was that our email request to ThinkFinancial went unanswered.

The saving grace of ThinkFinancial's customer service rating was the phone support. Our call was answered quickly and by a knowledgeable rep, even if the rep did seem to be more of a combination of sales/service rather than just service.

Upside:
Online application, pre-approval in 15 minutes, checks sent out in about one week.

Downside:
Email support and online help a bit lacking.

Summary:
We think that ThinkFinancial is a good choice for anyone interested in a student loan. There is a pretty simple-to-complete online application that will have you pre-approved in about 15 minutes. If approved, you can compare and manage your loans via their website. This company is dedicated to making education affordable and prove their goal through their student loan resources and financial tools. There is no minimum loan amount, as it depends on which loan you sign up for, and you can max out at $40k. This isn't as high as some of their competitors' maximum loan amounts, so look elsewhere if you'd like a loan past $40,000. There was a very small FAQ's database if you should need any assistance, and although telephone support was good, email help could improve. We feel they deserve 4.5 Stars overall.
