I tried many kind of security and antivirus software but this one(Trend Micro)never failed me, now I'm using it for 8 years and renewing and upgrading every year. I had Panda, Norton, Kaspersky, CA, McAfee and BitDefender under test and failed or too simple or slowed down the system. I am selling software and computer parts with installation so that's easy to test them all. If You want to buy a good internet security go for Trend Micro.
I personally like TREND MICRO as a back up plan. I use Norton but when the computer is acting weird I will go to the Trend Micro page and run the free virus scan. I hate to say this because I actually had to pay for the Norton but the Trend Micro has caught virus and spyware that Norton did not even catch. I have been seriously contemplating getting rid of the norton and buying the Trend Micro product. The price is also better. The price is only $49.95 for one year. If you'd likew to try it out how can you possibly go wrong trying a free version? You have nothing to lose!
Trend came on my lap top as a trial.... So I used it for the trial thinking it was running. It looked like it was finding stuff. I ran a scan with another program. I had 2 Virus and about 10 spyware on the PC. I was not happy.
