Stay away from this Voip service provider. I called them before signing up for the service and asked if their service would work with my high speed fiber optic internet connection from Surewest. I told them that I had no modem and that I had a high speed fiber optic connection to my house. They told me it would work - no problem they said. Problems were all I got from this company. The first set of equipment arrived with an ethernet cable that had a broken clip and a phone adapter that was dead and had no power at all. I submitted a support ticket online because I have no phone service at this point other than my cell phone. I received the new equipment about 3 or 4 days later and hooked it up according to the instructions provided on their website. Still no dial tone and I was unable to place or receive a call. I submitted another support ticket online asking for a technician to call me because I had no phone service and did not want to burn up my cell phone minutes waiting on hold for them. They sent several emails requesting information that they should have already had - such as the model # of the equipment they sent me. After a days worth of emails while I was at work they still did not call me. I submitted yet another ticket and they refused to have someone call me and told me to call in. I spent 30 minutes on my cell phone with an absolutely worthless technician that worked up to having me plug the adapter into an outlet in another room. After this time consuming fiasco I reached the end of my rope and cancelled my service. There are a bunch of fees that are not refunded to you and you have to pay to ship the equipment back to them. I wouldn't have this service if they paid me!! STAY VERY FAR AWAY from ViaTalk!!!!!

Via Talk is a digital phone service. They have got different plans. But my favorite one is $199 per year. This gives you two unlimited phone lines for the price of one. Again when you subscribe for the first time, they offer you 1 year of free service. Also there is not separate initial equipment fee. They have got 1-800- kind of live support. The customer service is 24/7 U.S. based. Other features that are offered are voicemail, free in-network calls, caller id, and many more. I find it quite interesting and appealing.
