Watch out for woot.com - - Customer Service is Seriously Lacking

They definitely have great bargains, but if you get a defective/damaged product (especially if something expensive/large) you have to foot the shipping costs in order to get a refund.

How do I return a defective product?
Unless we specifically tell you not to, call the manufacturer of the product you bought. You will likely get a replacement of a new model or better item from them. If we still haven't dissuaded you, email rma@woot.com with your woot order number, the name of the product you are returning, and the detailed problem with the item. We will respond with return authorization by the next business day. Because we aren't likely to have a replacement in stock, you should be prepared for a refund-only option if that's all we can do. Know that return freight will be at your expense. Again, you will probably get a better deal from the manufacturer, or whoever else handling member service for that product.

Woot is a bargain shoppers staple and the first bookmark on the list of people that love to get deals. Woot offers deals that can’t be found anywhere else, for things you might never buy if they weren’t just so dang cheap. There is only one big deal a day, but there only needs to be one – the discounts are so huge, woot easily competes with websites like Amazon or eBay despite only listing one item. If you’re looking for a deal on a specific thing, woot is probably not the website for you. However, if you’re just looking out for deals in general, saving money on just about anything, you’ll love woot. The only problem is that things tend to sell out way too quickly, but I love it anyway.
