provides two different application forms. The first one is a short form
and takes just about three minutes to complete. The other is a longer
form, but only took us about five minutes to complete. You do not have
to create an account before submitting your online loan application
form, which is a convenient feature. If you have specific questions or
comments, we recommend using the longer loan application form as there
was no place to write comments on the short form application.

Star Reviews really liked that there was a description for each of the 13 loan programs listed on their website so you know which loan product is right for you. The company strives to be a total mortgage solutions company and we can see where they excel at this. However, the information provided on each of the loan programs was not extremely detailed. A more detailed description of each program would assist the homeowner in having a better understanding of the loan programs offered by Acre Mortgage.
The company boasts itself on being large enough to provide competitive mortgage rates, but small enough to provide personalized attention. The company provides many ways to communicate with them be it phone, email, online form or through snail mail. However, a live chat feature could improve the online customer service experience.

The customer service operator was able to answer basic questions such as a question about an application fee, but deferred more difficult questions to a loan officer. We were then immediately transferred to a knowledgeable loan officer who provided us with the same polite and professional response.

Upside
Short online loan application forms are a great feature on Acre Mortgage’s website along with many methods to contact the company with questions. There are a wide variety of loan products and low closing costs.
Downside
Lack of depth in online resources verses competitors and little information on their mortgage loan process or timeline of closing. We also would like to see an online chat feature.
