The Auto Loan Soup Experience:
The first thing that we noticed when we ventured to the site was that the free application for an auto loan quote was on the main page. The site doesn't really tell you much about what all they do and who they are but the title of the site should make it pretty self explanatory. You will fill out the application and provide information such as your name, address, and a little more information that will help them get you the best possible quote. After you do this, the second step is to provide even more information including your income. The actual process of filling out the application only takes a few minutes if that and you will receive your quote shortly after submitting the application. You can even do this application in order to get a loan to purchase a vehicle, new or used, from a private dealer. This means that you don't have to purchase a vehicle from a dealership. This alone makes for a great auto loan feature.
The site itself isn't the flashiest site that we've ever seen but it definitely gets the point across. We do wish that they would've taken the time to put more about themselves on the site instead of sending us straight to the application. We did also notice that they have a section for home loans but we didn't take the time to look at it but if you are interested in purchasing a home as well, this may be something that you may want to explore a bit more. All in all, we had a decent experience on the site but it just lacked the punch of competitors.

The initial application process is free and from there you will find out how much your auto loan will be and how high or low the interest will be. This pricing cannot be listed here as it is unique to each individual and may or may not be based on their particular credit score too.
Auto Loan Soup Customer Service:
The customer service at Auto Loan Soup is pretty generic and you won't find a way to get live help. You have the option of filling out a form and waiting for a response via email or you can mail them a letter via snail mail and wait even longer. We sent them an email and it took just an hour or so to respond to us. That is pretty quick for this style of customer service but isn't as good as live help via chat or phone. This could definitely hurt them in comparison to some of their competitors but we won't based our final decision on this service on the customer service alone. Once they get live help then their customer service department will be pretty solid because the help we did receive was very good and all of our questions were answered. On the flip side of this, once you fill out the online application, you will receive a phone call from a representative regarding your application. We received our call a mere half hour after we submitted the application.
