The iSlice Opener was a pretty simple looking product that we reviewed here at Star Reviews. The basic concept was the blade could cut through almost anything -- paper, cardboard, plastic --- and not damage or cut through anything deeper than you wanted it to. A great little gadget for opening packages while also being useful for cutting coupons or scrapebooking.
Well, the review didn't turn out as well as we had hoped. The iSlice either wasn't able to but through plastic cleanly or as you see in the video, it clearly cut through multiple pages of magazines. If you are doing scrapbooking, you probably have a nice exacto knife that you are using and if you want to open those plastic containers that electronics come in, then you probably want to use another product that we have reviewed ... the OpenIt.
The iSlice was definitely a disappointing review and a disappointing product. Star Reviews gave the iSlice a 3 out of 6 stars and this is one product, we do not recommend for purchase.
