We replicated a few of the things done on the infomercial to see how the product really performs and I’d have to say we were less than impressed with its performance. We failed to fix the trim on a car door and failed to stop a leaking cup of water – it did however make a makeshift handle for a broken coffee mug and it worked until we broke it.
They pull an 80 thousand pound tractor trailer with Mighty Putty on the infomercial, but I’d have to have a Billy Mays size contract and some better video editing skills to go near that one with this stuff. I would be reluctant to put my hand under a cinder block being held up by Mighty Putty and we all know that broken fingers and bruises heal up pretty quick!
We give Mighty Putty 3 out of 6 Stars – it really isn’t all that great.
