Nothing can make a room look better than a fresh coat of paint, but let’s be honest painting can be a big hassle. StarReviews recently got our hands on an As Seen on TV product that is a perfect solution for the do it yourself painting job, or is it? Point N Paint is a product that drew our attention when it was being hyped on a late night infomercial by none other than Billy Mays’ counterpart on the new show Pitch Man – Anthony Sullivan.
They claim that the Point N Paint can paint an entire room in less than an hour and it won’t drip, leave brush stroke marks or runs. That’s not even the part that had us eager to test it out! No doubt the worst part of any do it yourself paint job is the tight spaces around moldings or the corners up by the ceiling (commonly referred to as cutting in), most of the time us do it yourselfers are required to buy overprices masking tape to make sure we don’t mess up our trim.
The Point N Paint is designed to let you paint around your trims and corners without cutting in or using masking tape, it has small plastic guides that sit around the paint pad itself that allow you to get right up against something without covering it in paint by accident.

We were sold and had to put it to the test. Check out our video to see how the Point N Paint preformed, but let’s say it was definitely a hit. Although it did drip some paint right after we applied it to the paint pad, it definitely didn’t leave any brush marks or paint runs on the wall and we were quickly able to paint around a door molding and a fire signal with no tape and in just seconds. Note in our test we found that even using the included mini paint pad, there are still times when you can’t get around using the old paint brush – see the video for an example. We did paint a large section of the wall in just minutes, but we feel as though the Point ‘n Paint just instant the ideal tool for painting large areas. StarReviews gives the Point N Paint 5 out of 6 Stars, it is certainly one tool we are going to be happy we have when we tackle out next paint project!
